Hello, my mini has navigaion system, what i'm trying to ask is, if anyone knew where the dvd rom for the navi is? Where do i insert the update disc?

Because i think my car does not have any kind of navi player, (under the passenger seat.)

Look under the passenger seat from behind. If you have the factory nav system, that's where the DVD player is. Flip the cover and eject the map DVD. Instructions on updating can be had by doing a search on this forum.

 

I knew it was under the passenger seat, and that it had a plastic cover over it, and still had a hard time finding it. The metal enclosure is almost entirely sunk into the floor, not a box there like I expected. The plastic cover is easy to miss. If you look and feel under the passenger seat there should be a metal surface starting just aft of the heating vent, follow it to the rear and you will find the plastic cover by the edge of the carpeting, it has a tab on one side to open it.

Yeah, thanks for that, found it hardly, but found it.

Took the disc out and made backup of it. (If anyone that have scratched his DVD and needs the ISO file to make new one, contact me)
(Not for those pirate people)


I'm still waiting for answer, about the topic when they will publish a DVD that covers ICELAND maps.

They have GREAT maps for iceland here, but why not for sale ?
