I agree it looks very good OctaneGuy and nicely done.

He has the first generation MCS (R53?) so the other side has the pop out cup holder on it as you can see from the 3rd pic posted.

yep it works on either side the same. I just wanted this one closer as I had originally utilized a hacked up factory cup holder on the other pillar for the mount and it was never optimal for me.

sorry guys just realized this was the 2nd gen forum...that's what I get for posting on a pocketpc, lol.

Well it a piece of hard wood sanded to perfection to fit the garmin monts that i bought on ebay..i try to put bether picture..

seems like a great combo--easy install and removal to avoid theft! are you going to make these for sale-i would be interested and would it hold any garmin gps? i see they came out with some new models--but havent researched them yet-thanks and nice job

havent bought one yet-still researching--but thinking about the new 880 out this month -seems to be a big step forward in a bunch of areas-i think its simular to the 700 series in size.

you planning to make these for sale? seems like there would be great demand vs having to take the dash off in most other installs. and if this can come instantly off without damage-this is a perfect theft version-no sign of device in car. let me know-i would be interested. robert

tomorow i will post more picture of the braket it dosent come of it hold by one crew the top one of the down tube and on the back of the braket there an piece of double face tape if just lest visual..
