URGENT! Water Damaged Head Unit
Hi all,
I have had my 2005 MCS for a year now and have had a problem with a leak from the top of my windshield. Usually it will rain and a small amount of water will get in and drip on my dashboard but nothing major.
This morning I left to go to the dealer for a service and the stereo started to blink in and out so I left it off. I checked again after another 30 minutes and the thing lost the ability to switch between modes. It would turn on and off on its own and then lost all ability to display text. Soon thereafter it lost the backlighting.
Now today I have the water leak fixed but the stereo is completely inoperable. I need to know if it will come back after its dried a bit or if I should go ahead and get another one...
Much appreciated
