I have the Nav system and I was wondering if it was possible to set it so that when playing from the AUX input it would display the song title/artist at the bottom of the screen while in NAV - like it does for the radio?

Not possible with only an aux input connection. To display iPod song title/artist, you need either an iPod adapter or the USB/Bluetooth option.

 

i have that, the USB/jack combo input... When I refer to "AUX', i only mean the input you select to listen to the iPod.. When I select the "entertainment" screen I see all the information.

I'm asking that when you are in the NAV screen, at the bottom can it be set to display the song information like it does for the radio RDS info if you are listening to the radio...

 

I know that your car is different because it has the usb connection, but my March 2007 build R56 only identifies the song at the bottom of the nav screen by a file number.

It does provide song title and artist when I have the Ipod screen up, but only that file number when I have the navigation screen or another screen on the monitor.
