Sat Nav 20 miles out!

On my way home last night i noticed my sat nav was about 20 miles out of place, in the top right corner its not showing the satellite symbol but when I am driving it still moves and faces the direction i am going! Also now the radio is now not picking up radio names but still getting a strong signal with no distortion, will this be the Ariel that is damaged? (It’s the shark fin one). I have a 04 mini cooper.
Any help?

The sat nav antenna is a separate part from the radio antenna - although both are in the same shark fin location.
The MINIs nav has a compass and uses wheel speed, as well as nav data, so it can track your approximate direction / speed / position without sat data - at least for a short time (typically useful in tunnels).

Hopefully it was just a hiccup and the unit will re-discover the satellites soon!
