USB Adaptor Hi Pitch Noise in between songs?

anyone else get a high pitch noise in between song when using the factory supplied ipod cable (USB & Aux). I don't get it when i use the Apple ipod cable, however i when using the apple cable i can't get the list. All of the function work with the factory cable however there is just this annoying whine noise that i can't seem to get rid of...

any suggestions?

I get it too, seems louder and more frequent lately.

Anyone know what this is?

I had a similar problem with my other car. I only got the ignition whine when the ipod was connected in some way to car power. I got a ground loop isolator transformer that worked. Something like this: http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...olator&tp=2653
