BlueTooth for R56 (11/2007)

For those asking about OEM parts that deal with blue tooth on a R56 mini, here is the break down:
  • 84109178862 CHARGING ELECTRONICS, HANDS-FREE;BASIS 1.00
  • 07146959895 PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW FOR PLASTIC MATERIAL 2.00
  • 07129904437 PRESTOL-CAGE 2.00
  • 07147136516 FILLISTER HEAD SELF-TAPP.SCREW W COLLAR 2.00
  • 12901438016 SCREW FOR THERMOPLASTIC PLASTICS 3.00
  • 84316938762 HANDS FREE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE 1.00
  • 84506928461 BLUETOOTH ANTENNA 1.00
These are all the components based on VIN and 1/2008 ETK DVD. The part that I have not investigated yet is how much wiring is there or not. I can not find any information on wiring harness for a model with or without blue tooth. So there is a very very chance that everything is there and just needs plugging in and computer activation.

The parts not listed is the arm rest (charging wiring and cradle) ....

More to come ...

Update ...

Found the dealer's cost on the parts in question based on January 2008 pricing that I was able to land my hands on. MINI dealers pay around $363.39 and Pelican website charges $793.25 ...

So what does this mean? Will I be able to install the OEM bluetooth into my car now?

It could .... This weekend if I get some time, I will check and see if it is possible. If so, I can post what your mini has to have visible to make sure you can do it.

I working on finding the best discounted prices for the parts. Pelican is not always the best prices on some stuff.
