Navigation & Audio iPod interface with a navigation?

iPod interface with a navigation?
either im blind or an idiot (or both), but i can't seem to find any ipod interface hook ups that is able to hook up so i can see text on my radio and use my steeringwheel controls that i can hook up if i have a factory navi..
anyone know anything about this?? links would help!! cheaper interface ones would be way better than those $3o0 ones!
