With the iPod integration is there anyway to Shuffle all songs? This is how I normally listen to my iPod but it seems I have to select an album or artist or playlist or something before it will let me go random.

 

You should just be able to select Random as soon as it has detected the iPod. At least that's how I use it every day. I don't think I preset anything for it.

 

I figured this out and I don't find the below procedure all that intuitive but maybe I'm just too used to the iPod UI.

After plugging in iPod
Get back to the main (list genr arts albm, etc.) menu
Select arts
Select all
Select all
Select all
Select all
<notice a pattern?>
Select all
.... basically keep selecting all until you get the entire list of song names in the display.
Now play a song
You'll be back at the main menu
Select Rnd
