Word to the wise, make sure your phone is compatible. Unlike BMW, Mini's bluetooth compatible list is much shorter. Ask the dealer for the current list.
Thanks - Looks like my phone is good to go, but after reviewing my build in the owners lounge I don't see the bluetooth I ordered listed - hence my curiosity where it got installed.
Stealth don't forget if you are planning to use a phone cradle in the armrest for your phone you'll need to contact the dealer to see if they have a cradle for it. They don't have cradles for all the ones listed on the site posted above.
Thanks guys, I passed on the armrest based on feedback here! I'm going to contact the dealer tomorrow and find out what's up with the missing bluetooth option.
Some people really dislike the factory armrest. It fits me perfect though with zero problems with it. Right in the right spot, no problems with shifting or the parking brake. I think it depends on our own shape. The length of arms, length between elbow and shoulder, etc.
Call Mini USA or your dealer and ask if the W810i has a cradle available. There aren't very many available. It may still work fine with the bluetooth feature in the car.
