Problems pairing Verizon KRZR

I just purchased a KRZR because I heard how seamlessly it works with BMW's Bluetooth. The phone paired easily enough, but I'm having a couple of issues. First, I don't seem to be able to see names in the contact list on the Mini's display if the name has more than one phone number associated with it. Also, I was told that the voice dialing would work through the car with no additional setup. Whenever I try to initiate a call through the car, I get an error message saying that the phone book is empty, despite the fact that I can see them on the display. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

My KRZR works fine but its from T-Mobile. I had problems with multiple phone numbers per name with my RAZR as well so I changed all my contacts to one number per. It was too hard to tell if it was a cell, home or work number. Plus I made them all SIM contacts, that way they move with me when I change phones.

Are you able to initiate voice calls without any additional setup? If so, how? I press the voice button and say "dial name". That's when I get the message that the phone book is empty. I'd love to be able to get this to work.

I just helped a friend pair his RAZR with his 2006 BMW 3-Series. He had the same problem with voice dialing that I did. Either I'm doing something wrong, or these cars need further setup to get voice dialing to work.

I'm stumped.

So I gave in and am in the process of recording voice commands for the Mini to dial my numbers for me. It seems like a clunky process, but I guess it's necessary.
