Navigation & Audio Distortion with CD or MP3 player

Distortion with CD or MP3 player

I installed a aux outlet and a ipod interface and had no distortion. After a ipod plug fot loose behind the radio it has a distortion coming through the speakers. Its like a fuzzy noise and when the volume goes up so does the fuzzy noise can you help thanks

turn down the volume on your iPod and disable the EQ and Bass Boost. Also, look into a different cable like this rather than the headphone jack:

Since the output will be low level, the audio will be cleaner.
