Audio Pop Quiz
Ok, I just bought a Motorola/Sprint MOTORAZR2 v9m and I want to play the music on it through all the speakers in my June build 2005 Cooper S. Is there anything I can do, and if so, what?
Thanks in advance for answers
Edit, it has a mini USB connector on it.

The users manual says "you can listen to your music through a wired headset with the Micro USB to 2.5mm headset jack adapter (included in the box with your phone)". You can connect that to the headunit's aux input (if you've installed it) but you'll need to connect between a 2.5mm jack and a 3.5mm jack.
You may be able to find a cable with 2.5mm plug at one end and 3.5mm plug at the other. Otherwise, you can use a 2.5mm to 3.5mm plug adapter (should be available at Radio Shack or a cell phone store), and a stereo cable with 3.5mm plugs at both ends.

You can purchase that cable at a Sprint store, however. I purchased one for my SLVR (hate the phone, BTW, as all Motos) in order to use an FM transmitter I have. The FM transmitter notwithstanding, the sound from the phone just sounded awful.
Good luck with it, though. I'll try and remember to post a photo of the cable for you.

How is the sound on headphones? If the phone already sounds bad even with headphones, you are out of luck no matter what you connect it to. If it sounds decent on headphones, then aux input should work well. FM transmitters degrade the sound, often severely.
Let me go grab it and test it out. I'll also get that photo for you. I honestly couldn't comment on the audio quality via earphone/earbuds w/o revisiting it. I haven't used the device in almost a year.

Here are the photos of the device. I believe I actually purchased from the Motorola website, not a Sprint PCS store. I honestly don't recall any longer.

Take a look at the MotoStore in the Charger, Power, & More section for the "Mini USB Audio Adapter, Mono, 2.5mm jack."
