I am now finding that I am able to display fewer tracks than before, only about 500 unique tracks, whereas before it was closer to 5,000. I am beyond frustrated with this POS method of connecting my iPod to my Mini's audio system. It is useless for charging my iPhone and cumbersome and awkward for playing my music. The only edge it has over the Aux is the audio quality is better through the interface than the Aux In.

 

is this the secret compartment kit? Get the dealer to flash to newer firmware. I don't have a 500 song limit. Also the charging issue- there is a $15 dongle to fix that. I've used my ipod touch 2nd gen and a 3gs with mine, it charges.
