Aux cable for Treo

All, i have a Treo 680. Can I use any aux cable for the port (i.e. will i hear music if i use a cable designed for an ipod) or will it only work if i have an aux cable designed specifically for the treo?

All - I just called radioshack and they sell the cable that I would need.

Just tested out the parts I purchased from radioshack and unfortunately the sound quality is bad. It seems like it's b/c the cable is going from the headphone jack and not the bottom of the phone (similar to this thread https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...d.php?t=115271) So, I will go to the cingular/att store tomorrow to see if they have something else I can plug into the bottom of my phone. Did a search online and so far I don't see anything out there.

I just got the treo 750 ...the 3g phone... and it's got a xm radio mobile application, which is good...saves me money from purchasing a separate xm radio... and with the 3g network, I can stream the radio and take phone calls at the same time

9.00 a month or something, just about what it would be to add a dedicated radio to the account

great investment !
