Navigation & Audio What's the best portable MP3 player?
Well I took the plunge and purchased a Nomad Zen Xtra. I have it connected through the Aux port and it Kicks Butt! Not quite as sexy as the Ipod but half the price, great features and awesome sound (as long as you don't use the awfull ear buds).
Cheers,
Cheers,
The best digital music player is, without question, the Apple iPod along with its software for Mac and Windows called iTunes (which is a free download). These people are so far ahead in design and innovation that they make Microsoft and Sony look frumpy. iTunes has a whole music store built into it. I've had one since 18 months ago and have it plugged into my MINI stereo system and am able to take it with me everywhere. My iPod has aboout 900 songs on it with 400 megabytes left ( I have an original 5 gig). I also use it to backup important files.
TheiPod is miles ahead of it's competition.
And the rumor is that on Tues (1/6) Steve Jobs will announce a series of new LOWER-COST iPods. Perhaps as low as $100.
Check out http://www.apple.com for details. The announcemet will be webcast (9:00 AM Eastern), so you can see it and hear it live.
