Dealer installed iPod adapter in my 03 Cooper - now glovebox is very cold?

Did they mess something up? I get the sense that maybe the AC is flowing in there, and my iPod gets so cold it's actually condensating slightly.

Is that typical, or is something terribly wrong?

just twist the **** inside that lets airflow in/out.

yup there sure is. i closed mine long ago. i didnt want stuff in there getting too hot or too cold. when you're looking in, look to the left. you'll see a weird looking piece. just turn it.
