Looking for a 4 channel amp that fits under pass seat

I was looking for an amp for a setup I'm planning to do, then suddenly thought "will this even fit?" After searching on NAM, I found that the dimensions of the foam block under the pass seat are 16.5" x 10.5" and depth ranges from 1.5 - 2.75". How much more room is there between the foam and the bottom of the seat? The amp I first looked at is 3" thick so I'm thinking it won't fit.

What will fit in those tight constraints? Max power of 90W RMS (per channel), four channel. I'd like to keep it under $200 (from whatever source: eBay, Crutchfield, etc)

cut the carpet and you can fit almost anything you want (it's sort of necessary anyways due to heat, unless you want your carpet melted all over your amp). Sony makes some thin amps...it will fit with no issue as long as the other two dimensions work.

It's been a long day, so I may not be following you here - are you saying that (with cutting of the carpet) the 3" amp will fit or that the thin Sony amps will fit?

cutting the carpet, the 3" will fit. It's recommended to cut the carpet for heat purposes. If you decide not to cut, the Sony thin amp might work for you.
