Changing voice on Navi... (help!)
okay so i read that other post (the main one at the top) and all the links to download the versions don't work or I must be a complete mormon! opps.. i mean moron (lol)... can anyone help with this?

That original post was made back in 2004. The links are no longer good. Maybe someone knows where the files can be found.
Instead of hacking the CD to make it work, just change your language...
I have used KiwiJochen's NavCoder Windows application to re-code my 2002 Mini Cooper's Navigation from American back to British. This works for both the MK3 (early CD based) and the MK4 (most recent DVD based) navigation systems.
If you have a Serial or USB to iBus adaptor, and a computer, then you're almost done. Just connect the adaptor to the iBus (I used the CD changer harness), and run the application. Make you choices and save it. Once it's finished you will need to insert the Navigation Software Update CD.
