Palm's Bluetooth v3.3a stack seems to work fine with the MINI. This is the stack shipping with the Centro. Sprint's latest 755p update also includes v3.3a Bluetooth, so it would be logical to assume that a 755p running Bluetooth 3.3a should work with the MINI as well.

treo 755P and Blue Tooth

I have a 2009 cooper s with blue tooth and my treo 755p works for about a week, and then blows up, where you need to to a hard reset, erase all of your data, re-download the email software, re setup your email accounts, and then you are good to go for about a week.

Any solutions out there?

The 755p is a phone that's known to break the MINI Bluetooth system. Did you read through the earlier posts in this thread? There's a good possibility that continuing to use the 755p will corrupt the car's Bluetooth module.

Oddly, it sounds like you're having the reverse problem though?

Treo 755P and Mini Bluetooth

I had a long talk with the Mini/BMW people last night. Palm Treo 755P is not on the approved Mini list. The caveat is the Mini list is from 2005! Palm says it is approved for BMW and sent me that list. I am next going to find a phone geek to explain the firmware to me. I think this is a firmware issue with the phone.
