Anyone have experience with Harman Kardon GPS-500?

I plan to purchase a portable GPS and am considering a Harman Kardon GPS-500. Does anyone have any experience with this GPS? How it works compared to others, support from the company, how often maps get updated?

Thanks.

Here's the owner's manual: http://www.harmankardon.com/gps500/gps500-om.pdf

I was seriously considering it but I do not need the music and movie player (I have a ipod and a Sony PSP). Also I couldn't find anything about map updates in the owner's manual.

Thanks. I don't need the music and movie player either, not sure why they bundle all of this together. My husband likes the form factor and cost compared to the Nuvi 650/660. I have a Belkin GPS that works with my PDA - I like it except when I want to go somewhere that wasn't there 5 years ago. I can't get maps for it anymore.

I'm not going to buy it unless I know that you can update maps. I'll continue to investigate. Thanks for the owner's manual link.

I eventually got a TomTom One XL. The XL is basically a wide screen version of the One.

The feature that sold me on the Tom Tom was the itinerary planning. It lets you set multiple way points to your final destination.

I like the sleekness of the Garmin Nuvi and the Harmon Kardon. But I like to customize my routes on a roadtrip. I looked through both owner's manual on the Garmin and H/K and I could not find that feature.
