those of you with aftermarket tweeters

how did you install them in the stock locations? i kinda ziptied mine in, i want to redo it though, cuase i did everything clean (running wires, etc) and then i zip tie the tweets. they stay, but its ghetto and it bothers me.

there was a mini on here with boston pro60 components, same ones i have, i wanna know how he mounted his tweets since its the same ones i have.

I mounted my Inifinty Kappa Tweeters win the stock location. I removed the stock pod and screwed them into the sheet metal of the door if memory serves me right. They sound great. I used FatMat to control resonance.

I removed the "X" support and the factory grill with a dremel and popped my tweeter bucket in there.

i need to remount my tweeters, i cant figure out a non ghetto way to mount the tweeter bucket to the little black thing that houses the door handle/tweeter (that screws to the door)

thats why the little plasitc trim isnt going on after i put the door panel back on, becuase the tweeter was hitting it. any ideas?

You have to use plastic epoxy. It is like welding for for plastic.
