Ok I have a 04 R53.

First..the hard one...

My factory nav does not work. My dvd seems fine. There is a power light and the disk spins as it should. But the screen does not come on. Ever. Anyone near Nashville care enough to help me figure out if its the screen or if its just not getting power? Anyone know of a donor car that I could check my screen in / check screen in mine?

Second..the easy one...

My air bag light is on due to trouble shooting the nav. IE: I removed the pass seat to check the dvd drive and turned the car on while the air bag was not hooked up. I was told that a mini tech would have to reset it.

Anyone have the equipment to reset?

 

Would like to help but unfortunately don't have a clue. I'd suggest talking to John Monk (MA) at MINI of Nashville. He's always been very helpful and the guy lives MINI. I've heard Pep Boys will clear codes at no charge. Good Luck.
