Get ready to laugh... I dont know what it means either. I just went to urbandictionary.com and it shows three different meanings. I'll make an assumption that it's Wide the F*** Open! Is that right?

It's a military thing...radio communication...WTF Over. Or, West Texas Farm Owner (for the little old lady neighbors that always seemed to be the ones asking). It was a Texas plate after all.

Do you know if there's a way to find out if certain plates are available in Tennessee? In California we could check on-line before ordering.

As far as I know, in TN it is mail in process only... Which is sucky, but the South moves at a different pace than the West Coast.

Thanks Drew. I was afraid of that when I saw the mail-in form with three boxes for your top choices. According to a friend of mine...even Alabama has an on-line look-up.

I know they have a list online of tags you can't have because they are considered offensive but the only way to find out if one is available is to apply and wait. Fortunately, it doesn't take them long to respond and let you know. I got mine back within two weeks. Be aware - it costs about $30 more per year to renew vanity tags. . .don't know if that's the case around the rest of the US so wanted to forewarn ya.

Tags here are really cheap. The tag for my SLK 320 in Harrison County, MS was over $1,500.00/yr. California was actually much cheaper than that and I think it was $30 0r $50 extra per year for a vanity plate. I just need to come up with something clever...which at my age isn't going to be easy. I enjoy looking at all the personalized plates at MOTD...clever people drive MINI's.

I couldn't afford to drive in MS! I'd have to trade Scarlet in for a Schwinn.

Mine's not particularly clever. . .more annoying actually.

If I go from a MINI to a bicycle...it's gonna be a Huffy! Dawn, if you don't mind I need to get a couple of cards from you Saturday. There's a CR/W justa that's started parking in my parking garage downtown....need to tag 'em.

Absolutely!! I don't go anywhere without them. Never know where you're gonna spot a MINI to tag. Glad to see everyone is willing to use them, too!
