Anybody have hp/tq numbers for 92 octane?

Does anybody have numbers for an MCS running the MTH (standard or tune) on 92 or 93 octane?

This car will be my daily driver and I definitely won't be running 98 octane in it.. just wondering if it's still worthwhile to get the tuning software...

Thanks!

O-Ron-
The figures MTH notes are RON (European) and not RON+MON/2 (American). 98 RON is approximately 93 here in America. Depending on where you live you can get a tuner file based on 92 or 93 octane (or even 100 for the track). There a few reasons why you would want to reprogram your ECU; see my web site or search the forums.
Regards,
Don

I saw that you kept up with my tracking of changes so just apply it in a general way to whatever you get on your stock dyno run. If you're going to do some basic mods (pulley, cai, plugs) then I think it's worth it. If you're going to keep it stock then that's a tough call. It definitely improved response over the entire curve except at red line at stock but if you're only going to load a file once it kind of defeats the purpose of getting the free files to take mods into the equation each time you add a part. Don't forget you're going to need the cable unless you know a generous someone that will help you out.

I use 93 octane.

98=93 good to know

I presume if it's tuned to 93, then running 92 most of the time will not be a problem... ?

I'll probably be doing a 15% and CAI. Maybe a catback later.

There's a local guy here that I'm planning to split the cost of a cable with

Just to quote the table:

98 RON (euro) = 94 PON (USA)
96 RON = 92 PON

In Washington state, most "supreme" pumps are 92 octane (PON)
