ASC modification by MTH?
ASC modification by MTH?
I understand that MTH modifies the ASC to reduce its intrusiveness.
I have an `05 with factory LSD, but the ASC "traction control" still kicks in way too easily, and I'd like to raise its trigger point and instead depend on the LSD to do its job instead. I'll happily sacrifice some tire wear for better control over the car and the engine.
My question is whether the Standard MTH remap modifies the ASC to raise its trigger point or if the Tuner version is necessary for this change? Also, could I could get a Standard or Tuner version that would REALLY cut back on ASC - like so it almost never operates?

both standard and Tuner MTH software have the ASC/DSC mod.
I think MTH is the only software/ECU remap to modify the ASC/DSC traction control, and it works great! I see the difference every winter when it snows!

I guess I should re-phrase my question:
It is my understanding that the factory LSD feature modifies the ASC feature to be at least somewhat less aggressive about quelling wheel slip.
Does the MTH mod do even more than the factory LSD change to ASC, if LSD is installed?
