Do I need to upgrade after adding pulley?

If I upgrade the ECU using MTH and then add an Alta Pulley, do I need to do another upgrade?

Absolutely.

But if you have the tuner file, then its included, and no big deal!

I plan on getting the tuner file. How does that work? I'd have a stock MCS first but I may want to get a pulley later.

So let me see if I understand:

If I order the tuner file and cable:

With my stock MCS, I upload the tuner file.

Then when I later get an Alta Pulley, do I upload the same tuner file? Or is there a different file?

You would purchase the Tuner file, and cable.

You would use Cartune (the program that makes this all work), to download the information from your ECU (using the cable).

You send that off to be tuned and tweaked for your mods, or lack thereof.

You get your file back.

You upload it to your car in a similar fashion to the way you downloaded it.

You add a mod (header, pulley, etc).

You tell us, and we re- tune your files for you, and then send them to you.

You upload the new files and off you go!

Thanks for the quick answer.

So ... how much for the tuner file, USB cable, and cartune?
