Im going to the dragon today around noon and plan to be there for a few hours. I hope to see a few more MINIs cruising out there with me. If not, I will see you all next weekend at the big meet.

You don’t push ***** on the road and I know that for a fact. Get off that fantisey you live close and do the heavy gas kind of thng. You do the SUV thing on it whenever. Get it!!!
Now, if any of us make it there for a Xmas run, just stay at home and save the SUV MINI gas money.

P.S. this is from a guy who took a Thanksgiving motorcyle trip on a Kawa ZX-7 with his dog stashed away in a tankbag, MAN that was a COLD last 50 miles to the cabin in Bryson City as the sun went down. Dog was snug and warm in the bag with his nose sticking out to breathe. The rider couldn't say the same, took an hour in a warm room to feel my cheeks, toes and fingers again...

I'd love to see pix of the dog in the tankbag!!! Must have been quite a sight!

I should watch my mouth I haven't been out on 2 wheels in a few months now 'cause I'm home now a lot taking care of my daughter when my wife works the weekends.
Chuck had his first trip in 1989 up thru the Natchez Trace to Smoky Mts and back to Fla. Also did eastern seaboard to NYC and return, folks always did a "double take" as they went by. Never tied him in because I figured in a crash I wanted to give him the same odds at survival as I did. I never had to test it out thank goodness. An "ex" kept custody of him in a bitter breakup, thinking it would keep me coming back around. He passed a year or so later and I shed a good few tears at the time I found out. GREAT DOG.
So who plans to come to the dragon this weekend? Me and Josh (battle cattle) had a blast on the dragon last Sunday; almost no traffic. I probably will be going up there sometime this Saturday afternoon and plan to stay there until dark for I can follow BattleCattle and see how amazing his light setup is. If there are a few more MINIs that plan to come, maybe we can all meet up somewhere...just an idea.
I believe Saturday the 17th several folks from Atanta will run up to the Dragon. Mamarazzi told me about a little "Killboy" winter event and that all kinds of other cars go up too.
Check Atlantaminis.net
I'll try to make it on Saturday too, my thought is maybe we can all meet at the little restaurant at the Dragon entrance around noon.
Cheers,
Herbert

I will be at the dragon around 11:30 am this Saturday morning and a few of my buddies are following me up in their cars. Hopefully we can get a little Mini meet together. I will try to be at that little restaurant around noon and meet up with you Moskito. There arent too many Minis, so Im sure we are bound to meet at some point in the day. I want to follow BattleCattle at night and see his heavenly light setup!
I wanted to go up today but was just far too busy. I reeeeeally want to head up on a Saturday after the holidays though. I want to take some pics around the area so I'm looking for a sunny day.

So I have two days off for christmas and then two more for new years. I *might* drive up there on the 30th. Seems like a good choice since it should be pretty quiet that day. Hopefully the weather will be good.
