September 24th - Fall foilage drive down the Kancamagus Highway - Lincoln, NH

I want to put together a nice fall foliage drive down the Kancamagus Highway. I plan to meet up at Laconia Saving Bank at 76 Main St (112/Kancamagus Highway), Lincoln, NH at noon. The drive won't start until about 1pm but please plan to arrive for noon as the traffic can be quite heavy this time of year. If there is a decent turn out, we can use the traffic light at the plaza to pull out onto the Kancamagus Highway in a group. We then will stop at all the eastbound scenic overlooks along the Kancamagus for pictures and to enjoy the view. We will drive to the end, turn around and head back, stopping at the scenic overlooks on the westbound side for pictures and to enjoy the view. This drive will take about 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic, and how long we spend at the overlooks, This is the most scenic foliage drives in New England.

I hope that there is a decent turn out!

Please let me know if you plan to go. If we have a big group, I will see about getting a police officer from Lincoln, NH to direct us onto the Kancamagus Highway in a group as the light might not be green long enough for a huge group to pull out onto the highway.
