Come join Tar Heel Mini Motoring Club for our 10th Annual MINIs Slay the Sleeping Dragon (October 12th -14th). Our base of operations, as usual, is the Fontana Village Resort in North Carolina. This year we'll be having a cookout at the Fontana Dam Picnic Pavilion sponsored by Flow MINI of Raleigh. We will be making a couple of nice MINI runs including the famous 210 mile/6 hour, Blimey's Tiny Tour of Terror (don't let the name dissuade you; you'll love it ), Soda Pop's Ice Cream Run to Bryson City, Nighttime on the Dragon, and our early morning drive to Clingman's Dome in Great Smokey Mountain National Park. This event is much less crowded than MOTD (~70 MINIs; 100 attendees) and you will see the fall leaves and scenery of the Western NC mountains in all their glory. All are welcome!
