I am the original owner, purchased the car at Patrick Mini in Schaumburg, IL.. Original window sticker included. I recently replaced the known to leak valve cover / breather assembly and at the same time, the rear brakes (oem rotors and pads). Recent front brake service including pads and rotors.
Timing chain was replaced under warranty probably in 2010(?) due to the early rattling problem on these engines. I have had no issues since and have not replaced it again.
All features on the car work without issue. From the CD player to fog lights, radio, auto climate control, heated seats, windows, sunroof, cruise, steering controls, Bluetooth...Headlights are not clouded over.
She has been well cared for. No mods, no abuse. I am a car nut and Mechanical Engineer so I like to think I stay on top of things.
I love this car, but I knew that I would eventually need to replace her at some point soon so we purchased a similar (but larger) Countryman JCW.
Car is located in the NW suburbs of Chicago.
