2009 MINI Cooper S JCW Convertible project car. Yes this is a project. Everyone is always asking me for something they can get at a good price that needs some engine work so here it is. This is a factory Stage 2 JCW car with the big turbo, big brakes, exhaust and JCW body kit. Car has 67000 miles on it. Customer I got it from had started working on it and gave up. We believe it has several bend valves. So his plan was to pull the head and see if it could be fixed. If so fix it and have a nice car, if not put a new engine in it and enjoy.
One other issue is the glass for the top has come out. Kinda like it just came unglued. Rather than getting a new top I would take it to an interior shop and have them fix it.
Looking at engine pics you can see he started taking it apart, all parts are sitting in pass floor. There is no front end damage, the guy just removed the grill for some reason to pull the downpipe and turbo. It also comes with the car.
