Always adult (over 40) owned, lovingly maintained & driven. Always garaged & waxed regularly; the paint still shines like new although there are a few chips appropriate for its age. It’s a low mileage, 6-speed manual transmission, non-smoker, no pets, "no eating in my car" car in great condition with a clean car-fax and title.

Options include NO sunroof (rare) - at least 60 lbs less weight in the roof and no leaks – ever! Carbon fiber Trim, heated seats & mirrors, JCW performance package. Everything works.

I’m the 2nd owner; however, I bought the car in 2005 with only 4000 miles on the clock from the original buyer and had it shipped here to Central California ( have the original sales docs too!) - the car didn't fit his family situation, so I've owned and cared for the car 95% of its life. I've got extensive maintenance records and receipts from the entire life of the car including the original window sticker and JCW installation certificate.

This is a fantastic automobile (the best car I've ever owned) and I’m only selling it because I want to try something new (a mid-life crisis maybe?). This car has been fastidiously maintained with all maintenance done earlier than required and no expense spared. This has been a very reliable trouble free car. The only issue I've ever had was a water pump that started to get a small leak which I promptly had replaced by EDGE Motorworks in Mountain View CA. The majority of regular maintenance I performed myself.

The ONLY engine modification ever done to this car is a Mini Madness JCW high Flow Air Filter Kit which was installed in 2006 (and is still in service). Otherwise the car is completely a stock JCW engine and included components and has been that way its entire life.<p>

Sensible Suspension/Handling Upgrades:

• 2006 H-Sport Upgraded Rear Anti-sway bar Installed.
• 2006 Helix Adjustable Front Camber Plates
• 2006 Helix Adjustable Rear Control Arms
• 2006 Willwood 11.75” Performance Brake kit installed & braded Stainless Steel Brake lines NOTE Original JCW Brakes Drums and Calipers are included with sale.
• 2006 M7 Strut tower Re-enforcement plates installed as preventative maintenance.
• 2007 Team Dynamics Pro Race Rims installed with 5 rim (included) as spare. ~5 lbs/wheel lighter than OEM wheels and made in England so they match car perfectly! (I don’t have the original JCW wheels anymore – sorry, I made bad decision to sell them at the time)
• 2007 “Mini’s Do More” Hidden Trailer Hitch Installed.
• 2014 Bushing and engine mount upgrades (See past 12 months maintenance below)

NOTE I Removed JCW coil overs at ~10,000 miles & stored them in my garage (I had Koni sport coil overs installed at the time) . They were Re-installed at approximately 62,000 miles. So the original JCW coil overs only have approximately 32,000 miles of daily driving service on them and work perfectly.


Upgrades/Maintenance Performed Within the past 12 Months:

• Mini Mania Upgrade Urethane Suspension bushings Installed
• Mini Mania Upgraded Engine Mount (permanent replacement for faulty MINI OEM hydraulic version.)
• 4 Wheel Alignment
• New Spark Plugs
• Water Pump Replaced & Coolant Flush
• New Serpentine Belt
• New Hydraulic Belt Tensioner
• Brake lines & calipers flushed with “Super Blue” brake fluid.

Bonus Items included with the sale:

• The complete original JCW brake calipers and rotors (only about 8k miles on them) - willing to re-install for buyer if it's a deal breaker
• A real spare tire with matching Team Dynamics Pro Race rim.
• An indoor/outdoor car cover in great condition.
• The special Oil filter socket needed for DIY filter and oil changes.
• A Peak Research code-scan/reset tool specific to the 2001-2006 MINI Cooper & Mini Cooper S. This tool allows you to diagnose a check engine light and to reset the oil & service due timers – This is a necessity for do it yourself maintenance and oil change owners.
