2005 MINI Cooper S FS midwest area
Well, I've decided to try to sell my MINI. Next month will be two years of absolutely trouble-free motoring with my S, but my wife and I are considering our first child AND a new home, and it would help to have one less expense.
Here goes:
2005 Dark Silver/black roof MINI Cooper S 6SP manual
~42,000 miles, mostly highway(100 mile daily round trips)
Limited-slip differential
Front AND rear fogs
Grey space cloth interior
Anthracite dash
On-board computer
Auto climate controls
Cold weather package(Heated: seats, mirrors, washer jets)
16" R84 wheels with stock tires(at least 70% tread left since I used to have aftermarket wheels on the car)
Stock audio with AM/FM/CD/MP3 and six speakers
The only mods are:
Aero grille
One-ball exhaust mod
Hella 500 driving lights on OutMotoring brackets(I will remove them if not wanted)
Tinted glass: 8% on rears, 28% on roll-downs and visor
The car has had three dealer fluid changes/inspections, and has had the oil changed periodically between those changes by me. I've done this approximately every 3k miles with a stock filter and Mobil 1 full synthetic.
The car currently has a rock-chipped/cracked windshield; this will be replaced at MY EXPENSE when a buyer is found, that way it has a fresh windshield for the new owner. A couple of pics show the car with aftermarket wheels. These are sold, and the stock wheels are what is included, again with plenty of tread left.
Paint is in great shape, with a couple small stone chips and NO dents or scratches. I park in the middle of nowhere when I go somewhere.
KBB books car at just under $20k, so my starting asking price is $19,400. It is located in southern Illinois, a couple hours south of St. Louis, MO.
Please feel free to email me with any questions, or just for more pics of certain parts.

Have you done a sanity check on the price? http://www.edmunds.com, take it by carmax.com to get an offer (don't have to accept, just gives you a floor, supposed to be pretty painless), or http://www.galves.com/ was suggested by several people as the most reliable wholesale/tradein pricing source (kbb is way off).
If you're confident in your price, are you getting the word out enough? Might just take a while to get the right buyer.
It's a nice clean good looking car. I like the lights and tint myself!

Spec-wise I like this car - no sunroof, LSD... generally mod-free (clean slate). I'm not a big fan of the color... mainly the black roof... DS is not my first choice, but I could live with it...
Unfortunately, unless you're interested in a '03 TDI wagon in trade, I'm not in a position to buy right now...
