This plainly states that the car is a lease.

It mentions nothing of a buyout or "residual" option upon lease end.

That's what I was going on.

Get off your high horse and **** off.

This is why I don't spend much time discussing topics on NAM. First off yes it is his business what he does with his money, but we are talking about the car he is leasing. He is posting for someone to take over a lease that no longer suits his needs for whatever reason. He is posting it in a forum for selling things, but he is not selling this car, just wants out of his lease. Is this car worth $750/month + balloon payment to someone on here? Probably. Does everyone think this is a good price? Probably not. The rules state that if you are selling something here that you need to post a purchase price which was never fullfilled as the details to the lease he no longer wants have not been disclosed. For all we know this might be a situation where purchasing the car at the end of the contract may not be an option which would be a terrible deal, or maybe the balloon payment is $5000 which would make this a great deal. Dont go calling people names before you even have the facts to look at.

Your right and your wrong. If you don’t like the price STFU and move on, it not hard. Someone will want the car and buy it.

I finally know why everyone has these stupid cartons in their signature. Its because they are rolling their eyes at the stupidity here

Why are you still posting? If you have nothing constructive to say then dont say anything. Go play with your dog or something, we don't want to hear it.

Hey Zach, show me one post in this thread besides this one, and my previous that doesnt have something constructive to say.

Now, Zach, show me one of your posts in this thread that has anything constructive to say about the posted topic.

Thank You,

Right here, and you earned yourself another 25-point infraction. Don't insult other members:

From the NAM Site Guidelines:

RESPECT
When posting, both members and vendors must ALWAYS be respectful of fellow members and vendors. Personal attacks and flames will not be tolerated. If you feel you are being attacked, report the post or private message rather than replying or flaming back.

If that lease is a BMW lease there is a buyout number predetermined... And I guarantee that it will be north of $20K... Maybe $25K.

For example my 05 MCSC which I got from the original buyer who transferred to China.. list about $31500, lease $430 month for 36 months. Residual Buyout about $19000. And the original owner gave me $2000 to assume the lease...

Hate to say it but you are going to take a hit here, unless you can hang in untill all the GP are gone, then, maybe...

Kicked off? Trust me Edge and I are tight

I just want this poor guy to sell his car and people stop busting his *****. He made an error (some people think) about the way he got the car and how much is paying. Fine we all make errors but why are there 15 posts about how he did something wrong? Its done, he learned and is moving on. Why be a **** and write in "hey stupid good luck, thats way too high, etc"

It doesn’t only happen here its all over the sale section

PS: you missed it I was selling clues. I still have them but you have to PM me. Details here -> https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=86636

Fast05-
You aren't reading the same thread as the rest of us....Everyone else has been posting relative to the topic of selling his car.....you have done little more than insult everyone who has posted to that point telling them to "STFU" and have been calling people "dicks" and "asshats"

You obviously are new to this forum and are used to other forums where people conduct themselves as you have......That doesn't play around here!

Don't oversell yourself. You're not doing yourself any favors around here... which is why you've received two infractions from me already this afternoon.

You do have some valid points, but you're going completely the wrong way about it. Remember the old adage: Two wrongs don't make a right.

If you (or anyone else for that matter) sees a post that you feel is out of line, especially outside the NAM Site Guidelines, you should report that post with the button at the top instead of making things worse by breaking them yourself.

Back on topic, alexandertg4, if you want to post the residual value, a potential buyer can see if taking over your lease works for them.
Monthly pmt: $761
Residual: ?

You can also try sites like:
leasetrader.com
swapalease.com

Very good infromation to have there Rowland.

Now alexandertg4, did you by chance talk to the dealer to see if you can get out of the lease without penalty? Just currious because since it is such low miles they have already made over $2000 off the car and can still sell it as "new" if they took it back. The GP can easily sell for MSRP and some people are willing to buy them over MSRP. Just a thought. Let us know once you have more information for us

the gp is an awesome car for sure statistically but honestly that payment is even higher than my bmw m3. I dont think anyone would touch that with a stick.

It would be in your best interests to get some numbers on buyout and go from there rather than sink someone else in that lease deal. i think you should cut your losses dude.

Sorry that I haven't posted, I had some issues with the board. Anywho, The car was leased due to tax write off reasons. I am willing to sell the lease for 35,000 OBO. The price is negotiable so just send an e-mail if interested to drmeschi@myholisticdr.com
