Which gearbox are 'ya running? Stock Honda Final drive with it? The FD issue is one that I kept chuckin about in my head - one day I hope to get a 2nd Mini and build it up either with the front or mid engine setup... either B or K series.

Anyway - you mention the LS 5th gear, so I'm curious as to which crunch box you're running. ...unless I'm mistaken, a shift from 4th to 5th will drop you out of the VTEC operating range, yes? Thankfully the car is light enough that I think it would still accelerate back into that range though.

25k looks like the price you can get one brand new from Superfastminis.com. Then again, there's no waiting list for a car that's already done!

Any videos of the car in action?

I saw this car tonight!!

Iv'e been following the V-tech Minis that Mini Tech puts out for a long time now. I have a picture of one of my favorite ones on my desktop at work. Today one of my employees put an inappropriate picture on his desktop, so I replaced it with the same picture I have on my desktop. About 30 minutes later I close up the office, climb into my '05 MCS and head out to First street. You'll never guess what passes in front of me! I knew it was this car as soon as I saw it. I wish I had a picture of the look on my face, my jaw must have dropped down to my chest and my eyes must have been as big as baseballs. I followed the Mini across the street and the driver pulled up to a storage facility, the gate opened and the driver told me to follow him in. His name is Jim and he was giving a prospective buyer, Patrick, a ride. Patrick told me that it is really fast. It was dark out but the car looked like it was in pretty good condition but not like new. They agreed on a price of 21K and Patrick said he was going to think about it overnight. This car started at Mini Tech in Georga. If I remember right it was purchased by a guy in North Carolina. He listed it for sale here on NAM. It was bought by a guy in New Jersey who passed away at the age of 37 the day after he bought the car. Then it was purchased by Jim who lives in my hometown. What are the chances of something like this happening? It's a small, strange world we live in and a I love it!!
