55th Annual Glenwood Springs Rallye
55th Annual Glenwood Springs Rallye
If anyone would be interested, on June 8, 9, 10 the MG Car Club is sponsoring the 55th Annual Glenwood Springs Rallye in Glenwood Springs. This 3 day event is the oldest continously held car rallye in the U.S. and generaly attracts many different cars around the region. Last year there were almost 100 cars, not all of which were British. Anyone interested can get a registration form from www.mgcc.org The tour is one of these quiz sheet type events and they try to stay off the Interstate as much as possible, the rallye last year took me over roads I would not have known about while whizzing through the area on the highway, Saturday nights banquet was a lot of fun then on Sunday the car show drew a lot of locals to come a gawking. There weren't a lot of new MINI's last year, our marque needs a lot more representation. Hope MINI5280 can help aleviate the situation.
So little time
Thanks Jim. I think we all whiz past Glenwood Springs on our way to somewhere else. GS has more to offer than just the hot springs pool. Due to a busy summer schedule, however, MINI5280 has the Run to the Western Slope (see MINI5280 Event Calendar) the same weekend. I'm afraid some folks will be buzzing past GS yet another time. Decision time: MINI5280 Run to the Western Slope or MG Car Club Glenwood Springs Rallye? Don't stay home the weekend of June 8-10!
