is anyone else here in the Denver area into mountain biking?

I was just out at White Ranch today and thinking that it might be fun to have a MINI5280 mountain bike ride.

Is anyone else game?

Dave

Dave,
I would be up for this but would need you to come up with a geriatric ride or two since I haven't ridden regularly in a long time....still love it but between having kids and running MCO there hasn't been a lot of time. Later this summer we should have a MINI5280 day of downhill at Keystone

I'm always up for a good ride. Dave, let us know if you plan something!

I went to White Ranch yesterday. It was my first ride since Thanksgiving. Wow. I have a lot of work to do to get back in riding shape.

My usual rides are Apex and White Ranch with occasional ventures up to Hall Ranch near Lyons.

I tried our my new Saris Bones rack (in "matching" green), it is scary seeing an $X000. bike bobing and weaving behind the car. I usually take the "other" car riding but it has been off the road for the last 2 months.

I took my Jetta yesterday. It has a Thule rack on it which mounts to studs coming out of the roof line behind the weather stripping (by far the best roof rack attachment scheme I have seen).

With the MINI, I have a hatch rack, but more than likely I would just strip off the wheel(s) and put it inside with the seats down.
