NASA Event: Pueblo 7/22-23 Drive? Work?
NASA Event: Pueblo 7/22-23 Drive? Work?
It's time again.... NASA will be running it's famous HPDE, time trials and racing program at Pueblo On July 22/23.
For those that aren't familiar, HPDE allows you to experience your car on the race track with minimum of effort. All it takes is a helmet and you street car. A free tech inspection at a local shop such as Webb Motorsports, Mac Auto, 3R, etc is required. We put you in the car with one of our certified instructors and they walk you through everything you need to know to drive safely at speed. It doesn't matter if you are looking to see "what she can do", or move towards a racing career your instructor tailors the day towards your needs.
The Pueblo weekend will be a little different from some of the past events. The event on Saturday will run from 6pm - 9pm and allow our advanced drivers to experience driving from day into night. Sunday will be the normal schedule and run from 8am to about 4pm.
We've hooked a couple of Mini folks - will you be next?
Is the winner of the Mini raffle out there??? You've got your free HPDE day coming to you! Call me!
For those that aren't interested in driving, the call is going out again for course officials. We will provide all the training. Working corners is one of the best seats in the house if you can't get behind the driver's seat.
In exchange for you working the corners we provide the following:
1. Lunch and drinks on Sunday
2. Drinks & snacks on Saturday night
3. $35 a day to reimburse for gas/etc (or you can trade for free track time if you prefer)
4. Hotel room Sat night (if you don't live near the track and you work both days).
Please pass around the word. You can email dave @nasarockymountain.com or call 720-810-4850.
More details can be found on our site, www.nasarockymountain.com
