Grill Swap anyone?

I have a 2005 MCS red/white and I'm interested in trying out some front grill options. I'm thinking of getting the chrome grill but first I'd like to try a black one. Is there anybody out there with a spare black MCS grill (after aerokit) or who is interested in seeing how a red grill would look on their black MINI?

How would a red grille look

on a PS MINI? I am guessing not too good....but the silver would look right on the red.

Oh well, let's hope you get some action here...

Use this it looks way better than gloss black (I tried a grille from a black car 1st) Remove grille & separate back peice steel wool & paint. If you like it remove bumper cover & mask around lower grille insert. If you don't like it the chrome ones look nice too

That looks easy enough. Thanks for the advice!

how well has this held up? did you clear coat it afterwards? i would think that the krylon would chip easily.

Its holding up better than I expected since I took it on the buisy freeways within a couple hours of 4 coats. No, clearcoat, that would turn it into gloss black.
