My wife Rhonda has a 2014 Countryman so luckily I learned of this product BLAK from Rich. I applied BLAK to a 2004 Volvo V70R rear bumper top. After 6 coats it went from fully gray to a cool brand new looking black. Simply amazing! I read that I may need to re-apply in 6 months. So the question is....

How does it age? Will I see swirls/waves/brushmarks/other inconsistencies in aging as it approaches time to reapply? I have several other areas I want to apply, but don't want to be in a situation where I have to reapply every 6 months or it looks terrible (worse than not applying at all from inconsistency).

Carl, did you apply the Gloz on top of the Blak to give it a shine, or just the Blak?

 

Just the BLAK. The original part was not glossy at all so is more glossy with BLAK than new. Will watch the wear to see what happens, curious what will happen.

I'm curious how BLAK holds up as well. I applied "Back to Black" today, so we'll see how long IT lasts. I'll try to remember to report back how long it lasts....
