Lil"valentino, some Colorado Springs mini folks are looking at forming up in the springs than meeting the group up in Woodland park to join up on into Divide and Cripple Creek. I will come up with a place to meet in Colorado Springs and also a place to meet in Woodland Park. I will try to find a place on 24 to meet the north group. any idea of a time you will pull into Woodland park? We will try to be there early and wait for the group. Will that work?

I am going to ride up to Denver and take off with the pack. It is such a great ride down through the mountains into woodland park, I don't want to miss it. Those in the springs should give it a thought. It will be great taking off as a group and running along with 25 minis through the hills and twisties. What a sight and what I ride. We get the shortcut coming home right down highway 24. See you there.
MINI5280 Challenge Coins
I plan on bringing out some of the MINI5280 Challenge Coins to this event.
Save shipping costs, buy one or two. Only for current paid MINI5280 club members.
I think I posted a picture somewhere. Had to post it here!
cost $7.00 per coin.
For now only event delivery and club meetings, quantity is limited and they are going fast.

We use the little handheld Motorola's, mot sure on what chanel that is put out at the drivers meeting before we leave.
I have been meaning to get a new set to replace my old broken ones but haven't got around to it.
I wish somebody would make a CB that could pick up the hand held chanels, it would come in handy for me.

Radios, I use the MIDLAND Model GXT760, we use channel 21 sub 7.
I picked mine up at D..KS Sportings Goods in Flatirons, I have seen them at JAX and REI.
Not expensive, good range and the MIDLANDS do not eat batteries like my Radio Shack units did. YMMV.
Radios are handy, but not necessary, keep the MINI in front and behind you in sight, you can get lost together. lol!
