For those that have never parked in this garage, here is a part of coming down the last 1/4 of the way down.

That looks like fun. Really I would drive slow in case someone was walking. But if it was cleared first, it would be fun to push the MINI around that.

It is cars only, no pedestrian traffic ever, so go as fast as you can scrape off your paint!

No paint scraping. But I may try to push it down that.

Comet can do anything!

Looks pretty much like my downtown STL parking garage exit...I practice that ramp every weekday in my Mazda5

No pedestrians allowed, although once in awhile there'll be one of the nearby restaurant server-staff piloting a Razor scooter down it at breakneck speed. Kids these days!

Wish we could join you

We're going to be in Denver Wednesday and Thursday and will miss seeing the rest of you for the weekend fun. I've been going to the Denver Auto Show for years and it's always great fun.

We've got two friends coming in from out of town who might ride with us. It'll be a last minute play by ear since one is having his eyes lasered later this week.

Volly is now going to be carrying 4 of us. My mom and brother are coming in to town this weekend to pick up a Dodge Durango they bought and would like to tag along to the Auto show.

The Saturday Plan

OK, it seems I will be the bringer of coffee and donuts (my choice) with a jug or two of Hot-Chocolate.

Here are the details as I know them today.

Remember your membership must be current, we trust you.

We will meet at the Pepsi Center at 9:15 AM to pass out parking passes. Section F. We have passes for 30 MINIs or your SUV if you bring it.

Passes cost $12.00 same as at the parking structure, these get you into our reserved area on top.

Bring cash/check or pay on the honor system via paypal to MINI5280.

At 9:30 we will motor over as a group to the parking garage, motor on up to the roof to our reserved area.

We will tail-gate, enjoy donuts. (yes, with coffee and hot-chocolate).

Bring a camp chair or two if you don't like to stand around.

After we munch, I will get a count of tickets needed and buy the 1 each adult ticket and all the kids tickets as needed.

You will need to get your extra adult tickets at the gate or before hand at King Soopers or online as noted by Rich using the discount code above.

Here are two graphics to help you find us.

Map of parking structure and meet us on top, look for the pylon reserved area.

Note, you can get into the auto show from the convention center parking area per Rich, we will ask him the secret entrance at the Pepsi Center.

This is getting to long, I will post on how to pay MINI5280 for your parking pass via paypal in the next message.

Don

paypal to MINI5280

If you don't have check or cash to pay on Saturday, use this method to pay for parking via paypal. Instructions provided by Rick G. our webmaster

PayPal accepts VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover charge cards with or without a PayPal account -- you don't need a PayPal account to securely send money to MINI5280.

Go to PayPal.com https://www.paypal.com/

Click "Send Money"

Enter $12.00, then Continue

Enter in the "To" box: treasurer@mini5280.org

Follow the instructions for payment with your charge card or you PayPal account

In the "Subject" and/or "Message" boxes, please enter "Denver Auto Show Parking" and your name, then click "SEND MONEY"

A receipt of the transaction will be emailed to you by PayPal. Please print your receipt and bring it with you to the Auto Show or to pay after we meet up on the honor system.

Here is the general graphic map around the convention center

Yes, both Schomp and MINI of Loveland have posted links to the discount.

Please print yourself a copy for each adult if you can, bring them with you. I would love to hand 30 or 40 to the person in the event booth.

Guess they can't be copied or I would. :(

My wife Nikki is not going to come with me. I am still going. I am bringing (Or they are coming seperately) my oldest daughter and her boyfriend. Neither of them qualify for the childern tickets. I have ordered their tickets online. Just wanted the group to know.

I am looking forward to the auto show. I have never been to one before.
