Everyone check to make sure they are on the calendar. I'm pretty sure at least one is not on there. Don't want anyone forgotten.
This should be fun.

DCPG and Membership note

Looking forward to coffee and donuts before we go into the Denver Auto Show.

Starbucks or Paul's? I can go a medium roast, what do you like?

LaMar's Donuts, I'm thinking 2 dozen?

Remember, check your membership status, if your expired this month or have not renewed, please do so.

Bring a little money to pay for your parking, I believe we will be using the Denver Center Parking Garage (top level) on the SouthWest.

Parking Garage location is Arapahoe and Speer BLVD North.

Look for a few MINIs and steaming coffee.

Slight preference for medium to strong coffee and either Starbucks or Paul's is great. If there's donuts, I'm there. :-)

It will be 2 plus a 6 years old for me. Either brand of coffee is fine for me. Thanks for the coffee and donuts!

Is there any hot chocolate to be had for the kids or those of us that don't drink coffee?

If this is the parking structure that is attached to the convention center, then the parking meters there take CC too, just an FYI. But looking at the map it looks like we would be parking in the garage a block away. I recommend the structure off of Champa and Speer(entrance is right off of Speer), that is the parking garage that we get to go round and round and round and round until we get to the top and is attached to the Convention Center.

Trying to avoid the round and round. Thanks for the info. Right now we know the DCPG.

Rich, I agree about your choice for the parking garage as I know that garage well and have used it many times.

I know the other garage as well, I'll probably decide the day of the event given the typical accessibility challenges.

* Regardless of the event or location I'll do my best, as I always have since joining 5280 ('07), to accommodate the majority. I do however appreciate any and all consideration regarding parking, restaurants, access etc. Thank you.

I checked the rates for the Arts complex and they seem to be the same and also take CC, like the Convention center. Since it is connected I prefer this garage as it is connected to the convention center where we are going.

I was hoping to go to this, but we've got roller derby registration for one of the kiddos that day. Have fun!

OK, a little update and I hope to provide more details in another post or so.

We will enter the Garage and motor to parking on top at 9:30AM. For those who have asked in previous postings.

The parking structure we will be using is the Convention Center Parking Garage, it took some calls, but we have access on the top floor open to the sky.

We will have 30 spaces reserved for the MINIs to park together, the area will be pylon-ed and have spaces reserved for ease of access.

The club had to prepay for parking, so please bring cash/check or go to Paypal to pay the parking fee after you get a pass at the event.

Cost is $12 per MINI, standard garage event fee.

We will pass out the parking passes at the event before we enter the garage. So look for a line of MINIs.

Or if someone knows of a close-in area to park for free so we can pass out the passes, post a comment here.

More later by me or Kevin our VP.

We could pull into the Pepsi center parking on the way. Make a quick little spin around the Globe round-a-bout and then over to the parking area...
Say area F

Just a thought

Actually that would work, are they going to charge us at the Pepsi Center, those guys are always wanting a 'buck'.

So, 9:15 Pepsi Center, pass out parking passes, head over as a group of MINIs. ???

That work for everyone?

Remember to bring a camp chair unless your planning on sitting in your/on your boot.

At 9:15 am there is no one there to collect money, so it is just an empty parking lot. There is nothing on the Pepsi Center Event calendar until an Avs game at 8 PM. So we should be fine.

Their gift shop (Altitude Authentics) is open during the days, but not until 10 a.m.. They have a security guard who gives you a parking sticker for free if you tell him you're going into their gift shop.

If the Pepsi Center doesn't work, there's the Auraria lot on the other side of the street just before you get to the Pepsi Center. You can enter on 7th St and turn right into the parking lot there. No attendants at any time, certainly not at 9:15 on a Saturday morning.

But, all that being said, I imagine the Pepsi Center should work at that time of the morning.

Very cool, Pepsi Center to meet up and get parking passes, drive over and hit the roof for coffee, HC, donuts and fun. Then we can go buy tickets for the Auto Show.

Thanks Rich for bringing your table, I will bring my 2 folding camp chairs, 1 to share.
