MINI-less
It's official. I have no MINI.
I wanted to say thank you to all the folks that have helped me with your experience, ideas, and even labor over the past few years. MINI5280 is a great group of folks, and there really is something for everyone. Mostly, it's just nice folks with a fun car in common, that let everyone be themselves. There are some folks that put in a lot more than their fair share of time, though. They know who they are, and I would like to thank them especially. The group events like MITM and Yalla Yalla take an enormous amount of time to organize, but even the weekend drives often turn out to need more organization than I would have expected until I participated in a few.
I will also have a couple of take off/out goodies that I would like to sell. Again, I'm not interested in making a killing, but I would like to cover some costs. I will be posting my winter wheels and tires, a full set of all weather mats, and an NM Engineering heat shield in the classified thread as soon as I get the tires up from the basement for a photo. I even have an unused stock intake and a stock sway bar. Please PM me if you have any interest.
I took the car to Schomp. It's an awesome car (R56 hardtop) with a JCW tuning kit, that was really well cared for. 21301 miles, when I tossed them the keys. It would be a great buy from them, if anyone is interested (and I know what they paid for it!!).
I'll be checking in regularly to see what I'm missing. Enjoy your wonderful and unique cars!

Sorry to see your MINI gone, but it has been fun having you around MINI5280 and our events.
Keep coming back, perhaps you will dive back in with a new 12 Roadster or a 13 Paceman.

Wanted to thank you for letting me steal your 16 inch wheels and snow tires.
They appear to be almost new, I will give them a run down to Austin in late February and then over to Nashville, see how they roll.
