Have been MINI-less for about 5 years and have taken the plunge and ordered a new Countryman. While the Coupe was fun to drive, practicality has set in and with a 8 and 16 year old in the house the Countryman not only makes good sense for the family, but it returns the fun of MINI ownership.

We ordered a Surf Blue Countryman S FWD with a black roof and a variety of blackjack accessories to personalize the car. Am currently undecided on the right black stripes for the car as I am not really a fan of the ones offered on the configurator.

I appreciated all the informative threads that have been posted that helped us in our decision making. Our '79 Mini 1000 "Nigel" will have some company in the garage now.....

We ordered last weekend and already have been scheduled into production for 8/21 - so now the wait begins!
