First Before the Holidays Party!
First Before the Holidays Party!
Advance Notice is given: on December the 17th, a Saturday, we will have a party to both celebrate the holidays, and thank the outgoing officers, and welcome the new!
write it down on your calenders now!
this event will replace, at least for now, the ATHP we didn't do last year, and may or may not do next year depending on new leaderships decision.
Holiday party is set for Dec 17th, 7pm at Dry Dock Brewing Company located at Hampden and Chambers! There will be no copay for this event!!!
We have decided to do a POT LUCK meal, the club will pay for the main protein, which has been ordered, bbq ribs, chix and beef from L&L(yum!) and people can bring sides and desserts. crock pots are ok
please don't forget a serving utensil!

I'll be there but I won't be able to make the November meeting...we have a Pre Thanksgiving Thanksgiving Party that night. I can't wait to meet everyone...Now that I'm official and have had my MCS for a week!! I'll also be at "Occupy Children's" on November 27th!! That sounds amazing!!
only 3 people are signed up for it, i know its still 2 weeks off, but we're making plans and i want to be sure to get enuf munchies....
also don't want to have it AT the brewery if 40 people that didn't sign up are going to show up as that probably wont work so great...

in years past, when we had the ATHP at the country club, the club(us) would pay for 1/2 the meal, and attendees would pay the other half. hence copaying for it. the club will pick up the expense in its entirety this year.

But it is a potluck, right? Club is buying the beer?

The Dry Dock is a great place for the party. I have been there several times. I buy my wine making supplies at their store too. Best part is that it is only a mile from my house. Count me and my wife Linda in for the fun and food.
Okay, I am getting questioned by both Mrs. MINIBEEH & Mrs. intercoolest whether this is still going to be a Pot-Luck? Are we sure the Dry Dock allows food to be brought in? What will the club be flipping the bill on?
