Tire Kickin' Event

Calling all BMW and MINI owners to Club Auto on THURSDAY, JUNE 16th 5:30pm - 9pm

This monthly outdoor event will feature BMW and Mini owners with specially designated parking areas and a waiver of the $5 entry fee. A free outdoor bar, DJ, vendors and prize drawings will be a part of the festivities as we gather with our friends from the 5280 MINI Club and other car fanatics from the Denver metro area. A food vendor will be on site for anyone wishing to purchase food to munch while gazing at cars. Party starts at 5:30 – 9:00 pm.

Club Auto is located at 11100 West 8th Avenue; Lakewood, Colorado 80215

Phone: (303) 238-5040

BUMPING again.
Spare just an hour and come check it out. Show off your MINI. Grab something to eat.

it was kinda eh. they really didnt organize anything, in fact me and the bmw guy basically "ran the show" outside. there was no dj, no outdoor bar, and no vendors other then our friends from Prima.. the "food" was some reheated scary burgers they overcharged for, and the drinks, altho free, were flat or overall quite unappatizing. good turnout from teh MINI club tho, I think I counted 12 cars, which was just about 1/2 of the entire show. BMW had 3-4 cars, and then it was a smattering of randoms.

Unfortunately, that's a good summary of the event. Can't wait for Saturday's Rambler Ranch Run!

Good turnout from the MINIs (and 1 Mini) so THANKS for all those who attended. Maybe another time...

Yes, "eh". Inside the building, I heard from a few regulars that this is typical of their "events." Oh well. Nice to see the fellow MINI and 1 classic Mini peeps, their cars, dog and kids. Glad we didn't waste a Saturday or Sunday on this event.

yea,

i've been to a few of their other things, and the food/beverage is always shoddy at best, the cars are nice to look at, but really only the layout of them changes as they tend not to rotate thier stock. It always seems like such a burden to them that they "have to hold events".
