bord poop

Today walking back to my cooper after work, I noticed a couple of bird droppings on my car. What's the best way to remove these droppings without scratching the mini?

Thanks,
Jorge

Get it off!!... and get it off fast with whatever you can. A minor scratch can most likely be polished out, but if bird crap is on a car too long it can do permanent damage.

Keeping your car regularly waxed (with Prima Epic no less) and using Hydro between waxings will help protect from future bombings but always wash that crap off asap.

Every MINI owner that is into their paint should carry a EBPK (Emergency Bird Poop Kit). Mine consists of a microfiber cloth and some Slick. I never go anywhere without it.
If the poop is dried Jorge then soak it with Slick and let it soften before you wipe. As Dave said though, scratches are easy to get out but etched paint is forever.

Prima slick or any really name brand Quick Detailer and microfibre should always be in the car for bird/bord crap removal.

I keep both in the boot.

Works well for a mild spiff when your parked at a MINI5280 lunch, if it is not to cold out, too.
