The Karz event sounds like fun, if that does not pan out the Smash Burger by the Cars and Coffee would be a good use of the free Smash Burger coupon.

NORTH meets SOUTH MINI Run - 3 Nov 12
Here’s our chance to link up NORTH and SOUTH MINI folks.

We will head up to Bailey, CO to the Coney Island Hot Dog stand for lunch.

We will launch from points NORTH (Denver) and SOUTH (Colo Spgs) and meet in Bailey at the Hot Dog Stand that looks like a Hot Dog.

I will provide launch times shortly but we plan to meet at Bailey at 1130.

Northern MINI riders. I fianlly worked up the map. Meet up at the C-store at Morrison and S. Rooney Rd at 10:15 on 3 Nov. Then off you go to Bailey Co to the Coney Island Hot Dog stand. The Southern Colorado MINIs will be coming up from the south to meet up. Should be fun to get everyone together to have a good ride and enjoy some good food. See you there.

All, update for the NORTH meets SOUTH run. The Coney Island Hot Dog stand a has great milk shakes. they said it takes a while make. We can pre-order if you want one. Just post to let me know if you want one, how many and what flavor. I will call them Friday to pre-order. Please let me know before then. Flavors: Banana, Blackrasberry, strawberry, mocha, chocolate, vinilla, marshmellow, coffee, pineapple, pinacolata, caramel, butterscotch, cherry, creamsicle.

 

9th Annual Children's Hospital MINI ToyRun.

This is the time for MINI 5280 to give back. Our annual toy run provides toys for children residing in the Children's Hospital. They need our help to provide them wonderful gifts for the holidays.

We will arrive at Children' Hospital on 15 Dec at 9:00am, located at 13123 E. 16th Ave (I-225 at Colfax) and pull into the visitor parking structure on the top level. For those that can't make it but want to donate please post on NAM and we can arrange to pick up and deliver the toys for you.

We have two meet up points. We will meet at 8:00am and then depart at 8:15am

For now, taking the MINI5280 club meeting to Cars&Coffee Lafayette.

MINIs can meet up at 9AM or earlier if you want to spend some time at the C&C walking and talking with the classics.

We will have a short gathering, enjoy the C&C then head to the Sonic and Car Wash over on Colton Road in Superior/Flatirons.

Probably head over to Sonic around 11AM.

Those who want can eat, wash up your MINI, then your on your own for the day, a few might make run up into the twisties, all up to you.

First Saturday Car show starts again 4 May in Colorado Springs. Styled like "Cars N Coffee" this month's sponsors are the Colorado Rock Mountain Mustangers. It is located at 3133 Cinema Point, Dicks Sporting Goods. The show is free. Car assembly is 0700-0800 and the show is 0800-1000. Come on out for a good showing of MINIs.
